Sound Paintings-The brilliant physicist John Kenneth Hutchison, known for his discovery of the Hutchison Effect, introduced me to the miracles of sound as a force. Solfeggio frequencies were sound frequencies used in Gregorian chants. Sound vibrations change the shape of water molecules so I use these ancient frequencies to change the watercolor. After it dries, I am always amazed at what I see. These frequencies also happen to correspond to the body's energy chakras. I do not attempt to paint. I let the sound waves express themselves, then outline the results.
